Contribute to the digital inclusion of all of Canada

Ecological, easy and safe

In addition to being environmentally friendly, your donation offers a learning experience to the intern who refurbishes it and a working tool to a school, an early childhood centre, a not-for-profit organization (NPO) with a community welfare mission, or a public library.
Your equipment will be picked up free of charge (a minimum of 10 pieces of equipment is required). Upon request, you will receive a certificate of destruction for your hard drives and could be eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
Fill out the form or contact Stéphane Camirand, Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at 819-776-5870 # 115 or scamirand@stlr.ca.

DATA SECURITY

All Computers for Schools workshops follow strict procedures for storing hard drives and erasing data and are regularly audited by data security firms to ensure the quality of these procedures.

RAM sticks store information temporarily. After the computer turns off, all data on the RAM stick is lost. RAM sticks can therefore be left inside the computers given without worry.
